Now that father’s day is over SPA (UK) will be hosting the Senior Sneh Samelan next. This will be on Sunday 11th July at 4.30pm.  If you’d like to watch please keep an eye out for a flyer direct from us with the details to log in. Please help out any senior members you know who’d like to watch but might struggle to access the event. It’s going to be a great event.

Remember if you attend switch your mic and camera off until the end of the event. And also no recording of any kind.

Mothers Day and Prajapati Talent Show

Hi Everyone,

In the coming weeks there are two community events taking place. One will be for Mothers Days, and a second is something Piyushbhai (from Birmingham) and his team have been working on for the past few months called Prajapati’s Got Talent.

The Mothers Day event will a performance by Meena Trivedy performing some Bollywood Classics on the evening of Friday 12th March.

The Prajapati’s Got Talent will be a series of performances including lots of things from Singing and Dancing, to Comedy and lots more.

If you’d like information on how to attend these two events please keep an eye out for emails and WhatsApp messages with those details being circulated. There are limited spaces so please make sure to log in a few minutes early as once the spaces are gone, I’m afraid you won’t be able to access the event. It will be a first come, first served event.

Please take note, there is a strictly NO RECORDING rule in place, even if it’s someone you know, recording is not allowed!

SPA UK AGM Update

I know we’ve been very quiet since the beginning of this pandemic and many people are struggling, whilst others are thriving. I hope you are all doing well.

We have a few words from the SPA UK Secretary in regards to the SPA UK AGM that was going to happen earlier in the year.

Hope you and your families are well.

Unfortunately due to the pandemic the scheduled SPA (UK) AGM which was due to be held on Sunday 17th May 2020 in Rugby had to be cancelled. The SPA (UK) Executives had meeting on Sunday 28th June 2020 and have set a date of Sunday 20th September 2020 to hold a zoom AGM.

Minutes from the last meeting, nomination forms, the accounts for 2019/2020 and the agenda will be sent out in due course.

P.S. can I stress to all branches to start looking for new people to take up roles at the national level.
